With 2.4.5 and my Visor when I try to synch the first time it start working and synch but thent it stop and I lost the connection, if I try a another sync after that it doesn't start at all. IN 2.4.4 everythings was find. I can still sync my DC5000 digital camera in 2.4.5. I think that usbserial add made a bad change somewhere. And worst then that in 2.4.5 if I try to /sbin/rmmod usbserial (after that I try to sync and after that /sbin/rmmod visor as been made), Xfree freeze (can't kill it with a ctrl-alt backspace) and surely because of the kernel that just crash. Usbserial, visor and dc2xx are alway's loaded since I load them at start-up. SO what do you think? Look down for some output of dmesg and proc in both kernel. ############IN 2.4.5 ################ dmesg uhci.c: wakeup_hc uhci.c: root-hub INT complete: port1: 93 port2: 80 data: 2 hub.c: port 1 connection change hub.c: port 1, portstatus 101, change 1, 12 Mb/s hub.c: port 1, portstatus 103, change 0, 12 Mb/s hub.c: USB new device connect on bus1/1, assigned device number 2 usb.c: kmalloc IF cb52cb80, numif 1 usb.c: new device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0 usb.c: USB device number 2 default language ID 0x409 Manufacturer: Handspring Inc Product: Handspring Visor usbserial.c: Handspring Visor converter detected visor.c: Handspring Visor: Number of ports: 2 visor.c: Handspring Visor: port 1, is for Generic use and is bound to ttyUSB0 visor.c: Handspring Visor: port 2, is for HotSync use and is bound to ttyUSB1 usbserial.c: Handspring Visor converter now attached to ttyUSB0 (or usb/tts/0 for devfs) usbserial.c: Handspring Visor converter now attached to ttyUSB1 (or usb/tts/1 for devfs) usb.c: serial driver claimed interface cb52cb80 usb.c: kusbd: /sbin/hotplug add 2 cat /proc/bus/usb/devices T: Bus=01 Lev=00 Prnt=00 Port=00 Cnt=00 Dev#= 1 Spd=12 MxCh= 2 B: Alloc= 0/900 us ( 0%), #Int= 0, #Iso= 0 D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=09(hub ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1 P: Vendor=0000 ProdID=0000 Rev= 0.00 S: Product=USB UHCI-alt Root Hub S: SerialNumber=ff80 C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=40 MxPwr= 0mA I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=09(hub ) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=hub E: Ad=81(I) Atr=03(Int.)
