G'day all, Probably not many of you saw this announcement. Russell Kroll's Network UPS Tools now supports USB UPSen under Linux (using the hiddev stuff in the current -ac kernel and linuxconsole CVS). Should be OK with APC and MGE flavours, although I haven't tried my MGE just yet (seems broken / misconfigured ): Available from http://www.exploits.org/nut/testing/0.45.1-pre/nut-0.45.1-pre1.tar.gz -------- Original Message -------- Subject: 0.45.1-pre1 and a trip Date: Sun, 17 Jun 2001 17:31:16 -0500 From: Russell Kroll <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] OK, there's 0.45.1-pre1. It has the Linux HID UPS driver with the latest fix applied. You have to build and install it by hand, since the Makefile's all target won't include it automatically. If your kernel source isn't in /usr/src/linux, use the configure switches to point it at the right file. There are still things queued up, so if you've been mailing me about something that isn't fixed in pre1, it's probably still waiting. I'm pushing this out now since I'm going to Colorado Springs later this week to work on some of my servers and networks up there. Development will resume next week. _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-users
