Hello everybody, Recently I bought a new HP CD-Writer+ 8230 which actualy claims to be internally 8200f (Vend/Prod: 0x03f0/0x0207). I use kernel 2.4.4 / cdrecord 1.9. (eventually i tried usbmgr 0.4.8 and cdrecord 1.11) I used a patch from http://cs-people.bu.edu/artdodge/linux/8290/ to make the system recogise the drive (mail me for the logs).
