Hello,
It seems that in 2.4.5 kernels up to 2.4.6-pre9 usb does not work on
OHCI-systems.
I know of two systems with UHCI-controller where webcams work fine and
about two systems with OHCI-controllers where the don't work. The
problem is that the webcams do not accept addresses:
usb.c USB device not accepting new adress=<> (error=-110)
I had this same message on SMP-systems where it was a result of
interrupt-problems, but in this case the usb-controller had an
interrupt for itself and is getting interrupts, one for every
error-message.
> cat /proc/interrupts

I tried several kernels from the 2.4.5-series (2.4.5, 2.4.6-pre3,
2.4.6-pre5, 2.4.6-pre6, 2.4.6-pre9 and 2.4.5-ac??) and none worked.
Any suggestions?
