I've got the Archos 6000 running just fine (in fact, it's currently
attached via USB and XMMS is playing from my MP3 collection stored on
it). What you have to do is either of the following: (thanks to
Matthew Dharm for help on this!)
- check out via anon CVS the usb-storage (via the linux-usb
CVS server) code and replace drivers/usb/storage in the
2.4.9 kernel tree, and add a line such as
bool ' In-System Design USB/IDE Bridge support' CONFIG_USB_STORAGE_ISD200
to the 'USB Mass Storage support' section of drivers/usb/Config.in
or
- apply the -acXX patches to the 2.4.9 tree, they seem to
contain the latest USB storage patches as well.
and then. of course rebuild your kernel.
Works nicely---and it's a cool device ;=)
