Hy,
I'm trying to make my Archos Jukebos Record works under Linux.
I think I'm allmost set but I don't know how to acces the device.
I use Linux kernel 2.4.8, with usb mass storage support and ISD-200 (the
ATA-USB bridge used by Archos).
I load the module, plug the device, I see this in the log :
Sep 20 15:05:29 localhost kernel: SCSI subsystem driver Revision: 1.00
Sep 20 15:05:29 localhost kernel: Initializing USB Mass Storage driver...
Sep 20 15:05:29 localhost kernel: usb.c: registered new driver usb-storage
Sep 20 15:05:29 localhost kernel: scsi0 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
Sep 20 15:05:29 localhost kernel: Vendor: FUJITSU Model: MHK2060AT Rev: D834
Sep 20 15:05:29 localhost kernel: Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Sep 20 15:05:29 localhost kernel: USB Mass Storage support registered.
And this in /proc/scsi/usb-storage-0/0
Host scsi0: usb-storage
Vendor: In-System Design
Product: USB Storage Adapter
Serial Number: 98C84B2D95028790
Protocol: ISD200 ATA/ATAPI
Transport: Bulk
GUID: 05ab003198c84b2d95028790
So I think it is ok but know, how do I acces to the drive ?
Which block device should I mount ?
I try scd0, sg0, sda, and so on, but it doesn't work, no device on these
file. Does some know how to see on with special device file is which
hardware device ?
in /proc/scsi/scsi, I can see :
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: FUJITSU Model: MHK2060AT Rev: D834
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Thank you for your help.
