dear all,
i bought this hp 318, then did the following:
* take some piccies (yes i put the batteries in first)
* connect to my usb hub (which also runs the keyboards i'm typing this on,
and the mouse, and a scanner, and a webcam, so i've got usb sort of up and
running)
* modprobe usb-storage (as su)
* watch usb-view and see that
+the camera is reckognized
+ but the entry remains painted red (which i beliebe means nobody feels
responsible for this item)
+ cat /proc/bus/usb/devices (see way below for output)
all this based on a suse 7.2, btw. i would appreciate a hint re what to do
next, please.
