Might have known... Now I have to try and find a USB->serial adapter and a reasonably priced serial modem - because trying to find any USB modems for Linux seems like a doomed search, I've tried practically everywhere I can think of. :( <snip> >Who knows. Try asking the vendor for the protocol specs. Or you can >try reverse engineering the protocol by sniffing a Windows USB trace of >the device in action. Its a thought, but even if I could find Conexant, get through to someone, and actually convince them to give useful specs, I doubt I've enough C skills for writing a device driver. If anyone else decides to do so tho, could they please let me know? I'm unsubscribing now (nothing to contribute) and might still be interested if it ever happens. -- Thanks for your help, Tom Barnes-Lawrence _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-users
