Hello list members,

My USB printer, an Epson Stylus PHOTO 895, works great as a printer.
It also has a PCMCIA slot.

In this slot I can use an adapter for CompactFlash cards or an adapter
for SmartMedia cards and print directly from these media and use the
printer as an stand alone printer through a sort of mini keyboard and
interface on the printer.

The adapter registers as an USB storage device, vendor 0x04b8 and
product 0x0602. I have attached the relevant part from
/proc/bus/usb/devices.

Is it possible to read the images directly from this USB storage device?

Regards,
Cees.
