I recently reported a problem on a box connecting
a 2.5'' disc to the USB port.
I found out that the manufacturer
is www.datafabusa.com and the product
is MD2-USB (USB 2.5" IDE HDD Enclosure)
(but my gadget is from Fujitsu, and the
the USB recognition messages says the manufacturer
is OnSpec, though).
I also found a web page
www.netcologne.de/~nc-reisinjo
with a driver for such device.
My questions are:
- is this driver merged into the (usb support) kernel source version
2.4.xx yet?
- If not. Is it planned to include that driver into the kernel?
- If not:
1. I guess that I have to merge the driver into the kernel
and compile it all together, right?
2. Who should I ask for including it into the kernel?
