I have experienced system freezes copying a large (almost 2GB) file to
my usb hard disk. This under kernels 2.4.13, and 2.4.14. I then backed
up to 2.4.9 (+ cvs usb-storage) and had no problem.
I experienced the freeze under usb-uhci on intel and via chipsets.
syslog: sometimes I get warning messages about incomplete scsi
operations before the freeze. I'll enable debugging next time 'round -
with 2.4.15.
