Hi,

I try to use the Flex-HDD Drive (FHD-352) by Sarotech under
Linux. But I can't found the scsi device to mount.

Some information [After power on my drive] :

cat /proc/bus/usb/devices

T: Bus=01 Lev=00 Prnt=00 Port=00 Cnt=00 Dev#= 1 Spd=12 MxCh= 2
B: Alloc= 0/900 us ( 0%), #Int= 0, #Iso= 0
D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=09(hub ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=0000 ProdID=0000 Rev= 0.00
S: Product=USB UHCI-alt Root Hub
S: SerialNumber=dce0

I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=09(hub ) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=hub
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS= 8 Ivl=255mscat /proc/bus/usb/drivers

          usbdevfs
          hub
          usb-storage

cat /proc/scsi/scsi

Attached devices: none

At this step always seems OK.

The usb-view tools give :

                 Class: 09(hub )
                 Sub Class: 0
                 Protocol: 0
                 Number of Endpoints: 1

                         Max Packet Size: 8
                         Interval: 255ms

But after that I turn on the Flex-Drive :

/var/proc/message

kernel : hub.c : USB new device connection on bus1/2, assigned device
number 2
kernel : Manufacturer : ScanLogic USBIDE
kernel : Product : ScanLogic USBIDE

On my RedHat computer :
After 30 secondes my system freezes and I must reboot.

On my Debian computer :
I don't know which scsi device can I mount ? I try to mount
sda, sdb, sdc etc. But nothing to be done. Where can I found this
information?

Please, could you help me ?

Thanks

                                 Eddy
