There is no partition table on the device -- there's just one file system there. frances:~# mount -t msdos /dev/sda /mnt/easy frances:/mnt/easy# ls -la total 20 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 16384 Dec 6 12:35 . drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Dec 6 08:17 .. -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Feb 5 2001 10930253 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 0 Feb 5 2001 madeby~1 So it works. :-) I've now put an ext2 fs on the device. -- (domestic pets only, the antidote for overdose, milk.)
