I have a problem with my epson stylus photo usb printer (which used to
work until some days ago): it prints a few lines and then it stops.

This is what the kernel (2.4.16) says when I turn on the printer:

Dec 16 16:23:53 voyager kernel: uhci.c: root-hub INT complete: port1:

Dec 16 16:23:53 voyager kernel: usb.c: kusbd policy returned 0xfffffffe

After a few lines, the printer hangs and nothing happens. Sometimes I
receive the following message:
Dec 16 16:05:09 voyager kernel: usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout
Dec 16 16:05:09 voyager kernel: printer.c: usblp0: error -110 reading

sometimes nothing is written in the syslog. Could this be a hardware
problem with the printer?
