Hi

I'm trying to install my Sony CLIE using the visor module. I followed
the description of Kreucher (http://kreucher.user.msu.edu/clie) but when
I load the module it isn't able to mount the device.

Below are the kernel messages:

When I modprobe the visor module everything goes smoothly

kernel: usb.c: registered new driver serial
kernel: usbserial.c: USB Serial Driver core v1.4
kernel: usbserial.c: USB Serial support registered for Handspring Visor
kernel: usbserial.c: USB Serial support registered for Palm 4.0
kernel: usbserial.c: USB Serial support registered for Sony Cli 3.5
kernel: usbserial.c: USB Serial support registered for Sony Cli 4.0
kernel: visor.c: USB HandSpring Visor, Palm m50x, Sony Cli driver v1.5

But when I HotSync I get an error message

kernel: hub.c: USB new device connect on bus1/1, assigned device number 3
kernel: usbserial.c: Sony Cli 3.5 converter detected
kernel: usbserial.c: Sony Cli 3.5 converter now attached to ttyUSB0 (or
usb/tts/0 for devfs)

I'm using kernel 2.4.15 and Clie Peg-S300/E with PalmOS 3.5.2.

All help is welcome.

Thanks
