USB should be ok as I have my Creative-USB-Webcam working.

I did it. But it still doesn't work. I now stopped at the point:

"state_machine_construct: open: No permission
kdc240_initialize: could not create state machine!"

I thought that I have no permissions on /dev/usb/dc2xx0 but as I checked it
it is:

"

crw-rw---- 1 root root 180, 80 Sep 24 03:55 /dev/usb/dc2xx0" or
0660

and this is conform to the HOWTOs I read. Any further ideas why it claims to
have no permission?

Thanks,

Ralf
