I was recently given an HP hn210w 802.11b wireless usb network adapter and have done some basic tests / searching and have been unable to get my linux system to work with it.
My system is Redhat 7.2 kernel 2.4.9-13 USBView shows the following: Speed: 12Mb/s (full) USB Version 1.10 Device Class: fe(app.) Device Subclass: 01 Device Protocol: 00Maximum Default Endpoint Size: 8 Number of Configurations: 1 Ventor Id: 03f0 Product Id: 011c Revision Number: 1.00 Config Number: 1 Number of Interfaces: 1 Attributes: 80 MaxPower Needed: 500mA Interface Number: 0 Name (none) Alternate Number: 0 Class: ff(vend.) Sub Class: 0 Protocol: 0 Number of Endpoints: 2 Endpoint Address: 85 Direction: in Attribute: 2 Type: Bulk Max Packet Size: 64 Interval: 0ms Endpoint Address: 02 Direction: out Attribute: 2 Type: Bulk Max Packet Size: 64 Interval: 0ms If I can help in any way to get this device working let me know. FYI: For those of you like me who can't leave a box closed I have some photos of the insides of this this thing. Very clean design. I should also note that where the small patch antenna connects to the pcb are additional mounting holes for a PCB mount SMA connector which opens the door for easy external antenna mods for this device!
