I am unable to get my Epson Stylus Photo 780 to
print reliably using USB with Mandrake 8.1. The use of the parallel port
is unacceptable since it is so slow (I'm not sure what they changed from the
older Stylus Color 740 which ran fine on the parallel port). While text
does not seem to produce the error, when printing photos I can't get a whole
page printed without the printer hanging (blinking light). I have to
power off the printer to recover.
Any help in resolving this problem would be greatly
appreciated.
