I recently starting getting the wierd error 'USBCMD_HCRESET timed out' in my logs, and can no longer mount my zip drive or sync my visor. All the USB modules seem to be loaded, but /dev/sdb4 is no longer a valid device, and the /dev/pilot port is no longer created when I press the sync button. The /proc/bus/usb shows 001 and 002 bus, and 001 device under each, but plugging in more devices does not result in a change in the number of devices under 001 or 001.
So is the port fried, or what ? Aric Kiver _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-users
