Does anyone have experience with the DAT Optic Speedzter drive? http://www.datoptic.com/fw25.html (for sale cheaper at http://www.caloptic.com/fw25.html)
I'm in the market for an external USB hard drive enclosure that works in Linux. After doing some basic searching in this list's archive and checking the device list at http://www.linux-usb.org/, I don't see a simple 'you should buy this' recommendation. The product above is interesting in that it says it works under kernel 2.4.2. Help!? Will I go wrong buying the above? I'm a newbie currently running Debian potato (looks like kernel 2.2.19) but I also plan on installing woody (which says I can choose a 2.4 kernel). Thanks! chris _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-users
