Hello, I hope that you can help me. I have a usb modem based on "SGS THOMSOM MICROELECTRONICS 56K SOFTMODEM", also, i have mandrake 8.1 installed. Mandrake recognize the modem as "sgs thomsom microelectronics 56k softmodem" but i can�t to acces the modem (althought the light of the modem is on). I tryed to connect using /dev/modem, but says "the modem can�t be found", also i tryed using /dev/st0, and looks that recognize, but it�s stay permanent saying "Initiating modem..." and no call. Please help me to run the modem. PD: sorry, but i�m spanish and my english is not wonderfull. [EMAIL PROTECTED]
