Hi there, does anyone have any experience with the above device?
We bought the device for capturing audio. The output part of the device works wonderful, but when I try to capture something (cat /dev/dsp > file), the file is only a quarter the size it should be. So I can only play it back at "normal" speed if I tell sox or whatever that the file would be 44,1 kHz, 8 bit and mono. The kernel messages when inserting the usb module "audio" all look good. I already asked Edirol whether they could give me some specs, but - as expected - they won't. They also said that it is unlikely that they develop a linux driver themselves.
