Does so here too. Win98 works ok.

Same thing here. 50% of the time I can mount the cam, the other half mount 
just freezes with the load of bulk timout messages. If I can mount it, either 
ls or cp (or whatever I decide to do on the mounted camera) hangs, becoming 
unkillable.

And it doesn't seem to be usb-storage related, since when I use the cam in 
Digita mode -- supported by the newer versions of gPhoto2, it also hangs.

I've send mine too, some months earlier. Didn't receive any reply though :-(
