I am trying to use a Sandisk Imagemate compact flash reader SDDR-05 (no button) (Vendor=0781 ProdID=0005) with my linux box running Redhat 7.2 kernel 2.4.7-10.
I have loaded usb-storage and can see the device listed in the /proc/bus/usb/devices but in /proc/scsi/scsi no devices are listed. In /proc/bus/usb/drivers I have usbdevfs hub usb-storage and I have done a lsmod and see scsi_mod is loaded. Looking at modules.usb and unusual_devs.h I see something for SDDR-31, SDDR-09, SDDR-05a but nothing for SDDR-05b. Do I just need to add a line somewhere to get support for the SDDR-05b unit or is it just not compatible? Thanks for you time.
