Hi,

I bought a wireless RF Intellimouse. It seems to be some kind of Microsoft
brand.

When I try the mouse on Linux, I can move it horizontal(to the left or to
the
right) but it does not work vertical(or very very very slow).

I tried it on several PC's with several Linux distributions and
kernels(2.4.16
- 2.4.18) with both the hid and the usbmouse module.

The mouse works on W2k without problems.

The Model-Number of the mouse is SM-2020 (mouse 2020TX, receiver 2020RX)

usbview gives the following output:

                        Type: Int.

Any help?
Or at least can anyone give me advice how to debug/fix it? (I am a little
bit familiar with Kernel/Linux hacking)
