Hi, these might be dumb questions, but after extensive searching, I can't find answers elsewhere...
As I say, plugging in the camera causes a freeze, not immediately, but after a short delay. Typically, I am able to execute (for example) cat /proc/scsi/scsi (which looks good) and then it goes. I am getting an IRQ routing conflict warning relating to the USB controller (VIA 586 chipset), but after struggling for some time to eliminate it, I could do with some confirmation that I am on the right lines. I'm not actually clear whether the warning is informational or not. The reasons for my doubt? (1) I have a printer working on the same controller quite happily, and (2) I did come accross one post that said there was a known with usb-uhci in 2.4.10 (I am using 2.4.18, and I've tried both usb-uhci and uhci). Any advice, opinion, hearsay or condolences that you have to offer will be very much appreciated. Mike __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
