Hello,

I try to get a stable USB-ETH connection between a Sharp Zaurus SL 5500G and
an i386-Linux-PC.

I got working TCP/IP-connections (telnet, ftp, even vnc) and
a syncing Qtopia-desktop.

But from time to time I get kernel-sylog-messages. Typical like this:
----- Snippet -----
Jun 2 15:40:32 linuxorange kernel: usb-uhci.c: process_transfer: fixed toggle
Jun 2 15:40:59 linuxorange kernel: usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 2, frame# 475
Jun 2 15:40:59 linuxorange kernel: usb-uhci.c: process_transfer: fixed toggle
Jun 2 15:40:59 linuxorange kernel: usb-uhci.c: process_transfer: fixed toggle
----- Snippet -----
This occurs when USB-TCP/IP-transfer is in progress.
Continuing working means that after seconds or minutes the machine crashes
(freezes complete).
I have typical uptimes of about 1 hour (!) :-(

I use a SuSE 7.1 distribution with a 2.4.0 Kernel. I patched, compiled and
installed different new kernels and modules but have always the same symptoms.
Is this correct or have I to upgrade some libs or other files, too?

I tried this with the following kernels:
2.4.17
2.4.18
2.4.19-pre8

My hardware is an ASUS TUSL2-C motherboard.

I have prepared the gzipped parts of the corresponding syslogs of the i386
and the Zaurus which I can mail on request.
