(Sorry for so many question back-to-back, but I've learned that individual short questions are more likely to get answered than big laundry lists.)
When I plug in a USB storage device, how can the usb.agent (and thus /etc/hotplug/usb/usb-storage) know what SCSI host/channel/id/lun it gets assigned, and/or what block device major/minor it ends up at, and/or what /dev/sd* device file corresponds to it? I want to do this so that my /etc/hotplug/usb/usb-storage script can automatically mount it and do some magic with it's contents. -- Mark Atwood | Well done is better than well said.
