I have a BAFO-110N USB Network Bridge cable (PL 2302) that will not work with my plusb driver. I'm running on a 2.2.16 kernel and a patched plusb driver so that is is the same as the 2.2.21 plusb driver.
dmesg output: usb.c: registered new driver plusb usb-uhci: interrupt, status 3, frame# 1552 plusb.c: set_interface failed plusb.c: v0.5.7:PL-2302 USB Interface Driver for Linux (c)2000 However the driver does work with my USB Link cable (PL 2301). dmesg output: usb.c: USB new device connect, assigned device number 3 usb.c: kmalloc IF c1c9ba20, numif 1 usb.c: new device strings: Mfr=1, Product=0, SerialNumber=0 usb.c: USB device number 3 default language ID 0x409 Manufacturer: Prolific Technology Inc. plusb_probe: Registering Device plusb.c: registered: plusb0 plusb.c: bound to interface: 0 dev: c37ac000 usb.c: plusb driver claimed interface c1c9ba20 Thanks Daniel Wichlacz ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Gadgets, caffeine, t-shirts, fun stuff. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, use the last form field at: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-usb-users
