Hello,

I bought the above camera and try to use it on my Pentium 4 system
running under SuSE Linux 7.2. Unfortunately I can't connect to the
Digital camera although the USB side seems to work fine, but the final
access to the device via the SCSI interface fails. The last line from
the attadched messages file originates from the mount command

 mount -r -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt

Although I have a SCSI controller for backup purposes within the system,
no SCSI hard disk drive is attached, therefor the device sda1 should be
fine. The SuSE standard kernel contains SCSI functionality built-in,
therefore from my point of view it does not need to be available as a
module as well. Am I right here?

Although I activated SCSI logging within the kernel, nothing seems to be
shown here. Have you any clue, what could provide access to the camera
from my OS?

Thank you for your help,

Holger Kuest
