hey guys this is a repost as i dont think the first one made it to the list.
im having some problems with the pegasus.o module for an ADMtek hpna adapter under 2.4.18. the adapter works under 2.2.18, but for some reason its not working under the newer usb system. i get the messages from syslog: pegasus.c: v0.4.22 (2001/12/07):Pegasus/Pegasus II USB Ethernet driver usb.c: registered new driver pegasus hub.c: USB new device connect on bus1/1, assigned device number 2 pegasus.c: eth1: ADMtek AN986 "Pegasus" USB Ethernet (eval. board pegasus.c: eth1: link NOT established (0x841) - check the cable. pegasus.c: link partner stat 0 eth0: Tx error, status 4 (FID=00BF) eth0: Tx error, status 1 (FID=00E6) eth0: Tx error, status 1 (FID=00BF) eth0: Tx error, status 1 (FID=023B) eth0: Tx error, status 1 (FID=0307) ive tried the latest usb and pegasus patches as well ( linux-2.4.18-rc2-gregkh-1.patch, usb-pegasus-2.4.18-pre6.patch ) but it hasnt seem to fix the problem. the link light is ON and the driver loads correctly, but there seems to be link issues. any insights or could u tell me where to look for more info? i found this thread on the list archives, but no solution has worked: http://www.geocrawler.com/mail/thread.php3?subject=%5BLinux-usb-users%5D+Pegasus+II+adapter+not+working+in+2.4.18&list=4563 thanks -ashkan ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: Jabber - The world's fastest growing real-time communications platform!
