Hi,

USB storage seems to be broken on 2.5.x (I am currently trying 2.5.29).
My system is a "legacy-free" Sony Vaio laptop (no CDROM or floppy, just
USB and FireWire ports). The following information can be found below:

 - Output of lspci -v
 - Content of /proc/bus/usb/devices
 - The IMO important parts of dmesg
 - kernel configuration
 - complete dmesg

According to the Linux-USB FAQ I've tried with and without Plug&Play enabled
in the BIOS but it didn't make a difference. Please let me know what other
information is needed to solve this problem.

TIA, Oliver
