Hi,

I have a problem with my SchlumbergerSema Reflex USB Lite Smart card reader:
http://www.reflexreaders.com/Products/Reflex_USB_Lite/RUSBlite_Specs/rusblite_specs.html

I always get the usb_control/bulk_msg: timeout message, both at boot and when
plugging in the device. Does not matter which of the two ports I use.
The USB device works fine under Windows98 on the same computer.
I am using SuSE 8.0 and have no problems with my other USB devices like
scanner or mouse. So there is nothing wrong with the device nor USB support
for other devices.
I know that there were some issues on SuSE 8.0 and USB timeout but I
implemented the fixes according to the instructions on the SuSE support
mailing list without any improvement. I do not think this was the issue anyway
since my other devices worked fine all the time.

Thanks for any help on this matter

Mikael Karlsson
