Hi,

I bought a usb cameramate to read smartmedia cards from my digital
camera. I plug it in and it is recognized by the system. I can see it
with usbview, and "cat /proc/scsi/scsi". On boot up, the kernel
registers it as /dev/sda, but I can't mount the cards. I keep getting
the error that I must specify the filesystem type, even though I set the
filesystem as "auto" in /etc/fstab. One of the reasons I bought a
cameramate was that it was listed on the usb mass storage page as well
supported.

I'm running the RedHat 2.4.18-10 kernel.

Note I'm not a subscriber to the list, so can cc me the answers.

Thanks,
Jonathan
