My SDDR-31 CF reader mounts, writes, and reads, but it doesn't permit files larger than the archaic MS-DOS 8.3 format (ie network1.htm). Files and folders longer than the 8.3 format are renamed to it, ~1 and all (ie network32.html >>> network~1.htm). I know I've got the correct drivers compiled into the kernel, since my USB keyboard, mouse, and printer also work. I couldn't find it when searching for "SDDR-31 AND file AND name" in this list's archive, so I assume it's specific to my machine.
