I'm using an 32M EasyDisk which can be read/write successfully on
Win2000, but it just cann't work at all on Redhat 7.3. I read some
articles and tried and tried. But still I got "not a valid block device".
I need your help!

"fdisk -l" only shew my hard disk. I've tried sda?, sdb, sdb?. But no use. Every 
access caused 
the groan  "SCSI device (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST. ...", the same as the last "$ 
tail /var/log/messages"
