uncommenting DEBUG doesn't give much info, at least to
me. Is there something to add to the kernel other then
the entry for the table:
 struct usb_device_id scanner_device_ids

I was hoping it might behave like a 2200c...

The the DEBUG enabled messages:

kernel: hub.c: USB new device connect on bus2/1,
assigned device number 5

/sbin/hotplug: arguments (usb) env (PWD=/etc/hotplug
HOSTNAME=jade.home.com DEVICE=/proc/bus/usb/002/005

DEVFS=/proc/bus/usb TYPE=0/0/0 SHLVL=1 SHELL=/bin/bash
HOSTTYPE=i586 OSTYPE=linux-gnu HOME=/ TERM=dumb
PATH=/bin:/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin PRODUCT=3f0/901/100
_=/usr/bin/env)

/sbin/hotplug: invoke /etc/hotplug/usb.agent ()
scannerdrake[2732]: ### Program is starting ###

/etc/hotplug/usb.agent: Setup scanner for USB product

/etc/hotplug/usb.agent: missing kernel or user mode
driver scanner

scannerdrake[2732]: ### Program is starting ###
jade scannerdrake[2732]: unknown line 1549 ( #for
hardware detection)

Any other ideas?

Thanks
