Thanks for the inforamtion about the Maxtor USB 2040ROM001. Actualy I have a Argosy HD 530. It is 10 GB USB external hard disk.
I have tried a lot but failed to mount it. Just now I read at Hardware-HOWTO (http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Hardware-HOWTO/pcmcia.html) that Argosy can be interfaced with modulse "ide-cs" driver (in the ATA/IDE Interface Cards: section) Can any body let me know how to do this.
