Include usbdev filesystem, when you compile the kernel.
Then try> mount -t usbdevfs none /proc/bus/usb

Hi all,

I'm trying to get my apacer handydrive going. According to the
'working devices database' at http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/
it should work... but so far I haven't gotten there yet.

The problem is that /proc/bus/usb/devices is missing. At least
that is what usbview says and it's right.. in fact /proc/bus/usb
is missing entirely ;(

the system:
kernel : homegrown 2.4.19 with usb-support (modules)
hotplug : hotplug_0.0.20020826-1_all.deb

Looking at the logs (see below) it seems to work and I can't figure
out what is wrong. Not that that is a great surprise, cause all this
is new to me ;)

Could someone point me in the right direction?

thanks,
Bram
