I vaguely recall some issues with this modem - can't find the right links now, but I think it went something like: * some reviewer said it worked with Linux (on zdnet, or something like that) * people went out and bought them, and found it to be a winmodem (based on the SGS design, maybe?) * turns out that DLink "value engineered" the modem, kept the same marketing name (or maybe just had a lot of cartons left over - no idea), and completely changed the functionality. So maybe not all DSB-560s are the same. Anyone else remember the detail? Brad - -- http://linux.conf.au. 22-25Jan2003. Perth, Aust. I'm registered.
