I've seen this type of errors lots when loading modules into the kernel. I
my experience the driver you got likely will work. But you probably need
to load a additional module first.

I get "unresolved symbols" sometimes with web cam's sometimes, usually
what fixes it is I have to load videodev.o before the cam driver.
