Nice people don't let nice people do binary-only drivers. You need the GPL'd 
one instead, released by Atmel (who make the chipset).

Try the driver and instructions at:
http://atmelwlandriver.sourceforge.net/news.html

The long term plan (AFAIK) is to integrate the driver into the kernel. However 
no-one is funding the work, so development is happening when people have time 
/ get motivated.
