Hi.
I have a USB2.0 Lacie external hard-drive that I was hoping to get
working properly with the same kernel. The patch applies fine to the
2.4.20 kernel but in my case, didn't make a difference either.
The HD works just fine (except for the speed obviousy) when plugged into
a USB1.1 socket so I assume it's not the usb-storage module. I'm
guessing it's the ehci-hcd code. What happens is the i/o freezes after a
few file operations. File commands don't return and you can't unmount
the disk. The whole thing freezes. But the rest of the kernel just chugs
along fine. So I'm a bit stuck as well.
