Folks,
I'm thinking of beginning a personal project that will involve building some
Linux boxes around the VIA KT400 chipset (Gigabyte GA-7VAXP motherbord) and
conecting primarily USB based devices to them instead of legacy equipment --
primarily a USB DVD writer, a USB keyboard and mouse, a USB scanner. I'm
planning to use Linux 2.4 due to all the horrible things I read about IDE
support in 2.5 and I'm curious how successful I will be.
Does anyone have a simular configuration who could comment on how well it
works? Please reply in e-mail as I haven't actually subscribed to this
mailing list.
Thanks,
Christopher
