Hi *,

I have a problem with a USB WLAN Adapter. It works fine so far but after
a reboot it is absolutely unusable. It stays active for the boot cycle
but the driver can't use it anymore - it thinks the device was not
initialized. But initializing the device fails with an error (because
it is still initialized? Don't know...).

So my question is: Is there a command or a API call (ioctl, whatever)
to reset a random USB device on the bus or even powercycle it?
Powercycling the whole system revives the USB WLAN Adapter as well.
I just would like to be able to reboot the system remotely.

Thanks for any help

        Torsten
