its only my 6th day with linux but already I'm kinda starting have fun with
it ... I was wondering how I can get started with making it run my kodak
compactflash usb reader as just that when I had a look at the 2.4 kernel on
linux-usb.org there were soo many files?
thanks anyhow.
btw who wouldn't have thought it was 'clear' instead of 'cls' for the
linux-dos or whatever it is called? hehe
I'm running 'turbolinux server 6.0 lite' which I had the cd for some time
but never used ~ lot of older Gnome and kernel drivers I know but when I can
get the usb up I'll be able to download lot of stuffs to try upgrade these
(btw I can't figure the stupid 'PPP dialup ulitity' so I'm trying to find an
alternative simple one if anyone got suggestions??!!!)
anyhow my box is a 300A mhz celeron with two usb1.1 ports (mouse and usb
keyboard are hogging two usb>ps/2 adapters), 36x max cdrom, unplugged
buslink cdrw (wasn't so sure about the installer recognzie this so...sorry
if I was wrong), broken diskette drive (yeah yeah like it fails almost all
the times ~ need to replace it I know!), and well its a 4mb/2D cirrus logic
video card (I wasn't so sure that I selected 800x600 32-bit color at 72Hz?
(never had the Hz thinge under windows so..))
sorry for being a bit offtopic...I still got a lot of Q about my first-timer
with linux.
