I saw in the mailing list archives that someone reported this problem,
but a lost the mail link. So, I'm reporting it again, with more
details. I'm sending also some logs attached.

Problem: RCA Digital Broadband Cable Modem (reported by /proc as
"Thomson DCM245 Cable Modem") behaves badly, with arbitrary
disconnections and "strange" log messages.

Example: when downloading emails with fetchmail, disconnects suddenly;
the same occurs sometimes when "dhclient" is updating its releases, or
even when opening HTML pages.

PS: My other Cable Modem (Scientific Atlanta Webstar DPX110) works fine
with the same computer, so this problem is only with this RCA... :/

Technical details:
- Kernel 2.4.20
- Using "JE" UHCI driver
- some others in logs.

ifconfig output:

more information (or do more testing) if necessary.
