I got my new PQI Travel Flash 7 in 1 USB card reader to work on debian.

However, a minor point perhaps: after umount(8)ing it and removing the
SmartMedia card, I couldn't figure out how to read the built-in 16MB
memory, though.  Disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cord didn't
help. Upon reboot I could though.

You see the instruction sheet for the product states that the internal
16MB memory is covered up by inserting SmartMedia cards, but not the
other cards it has holes for.  So one must remove the SmartMedia card
it one wants to access it.  Anyway, i found I must reboot(!) to access it.
