I was wondering if there perhaps was another USB device there, but I guess 
not. You sure that the CD is on SCSI bus 3? I guess you are... I had a 
problem with 2.4.20 not actually doing the "scsi add-single-device ..." 
for me but the RH kernel 2.4.18-4 did...
