I've read this some time ago... if using parport, text stream was perfectly printed. if using samsung gdi filter lprng says, that it can't open /dev/usb/lp0(it exists) log contains this: (Worker - Print)[2832]: lp: Get_status_from_OF: LP, of_error 5 closed! - Bad file descriptor > Some printers won't print text just by echoing text to them. > They require more commands.
